FREE Cards and Rules!!!

In my first attempt at promoting my blog, I am giving these four Christmas card designs for free!! Thanks so much to all my followers/users! It's fun getting to know you guys and actually see people use my layouts! Instructions are below.

Just add one of my buttons to your blog, use one of my layouts or become a follower of mine then e-mail me (ashleywiltbank@gmail.com) and tell me which card you want along with the following info:

*Your blog address or name so I can see you became a follower or added my button
*Which card you would like
*The picture you want on the card (Also let me know if you want it black & white, sepia, muted colors or normal color)-If you're worried about the size of your photo, don't, I'll make it work :)
*Text you want on the card

I'll e-mail you back with the card attached and a few more instructions about printing and you can go print it!

To save you and I both a lot of stress, I WILL NOT BE ACCEPTING ANY REQUESTS AFTER NOV. 30!! I'm not normally one of those people who celebrates Christmas before Thanksgiving but if you have them by the beginning of Dec. you can get them out earlier and I can have more time to study for my finals! :)

So here's the big surprise announcement...on Wednesday night, I'm going to be posting a few different Christmas card designs that I will give you for FREE! I'll probably sell them next year but I realized I've never really done any type of promotions for my blog and I thought Christmas would be a fun time to do it. I'll post all the details with the cards on Wed. so make sure you check back then!

Last night was rough! Many of you were seeing this hairy little guy instead of your layouts for a few hours last night. Talk about frustrating!! However, I've resolved my issues with Photobucket and am now paying to ensure this doesn't happen again!...so it had better not!! :) Hopefully I didn't lose too many of you during the night! Things will be up and running again with a new post on Sunday as usual!

ALSO, I have a surprise/announcement next Sunday when I post so make sure you check back! I'll give you a hint by saying don't by Christmas cards yet!

I greatly apologize for the fact that your layouts are unable to view right now. I am having major issues with Photobucket for the second time this year and am ready to end my relationship with them. I hope to have this issue resolved by tomorrow morning. Please let me know if you know of any photo hosting sites with whom you have had good experiences.

Again, I apologize for the inconvenience! I am very frustrated and trying to get this resolved as soon as possible! Thanks to all you loyal users who are sticking with me! I understand if you want to look to a different site in the meantime but please check back in a few days as I'm confident it will be resolved at least by then. :)

Fall is here and I have a few new layouts to share with you all! I'm making some changes around the site to hopefully make it a little more user-friendly and easy to navigate (any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!)

*From now on, I will be posting new layouts on this page as well as the complete layouts page.

*I'm not going to be posting the basic background layouts anymore, I figure there are enough sites out there to get cute background layouts and I really want to make my site more basic so that's one thing I'm cutting. If you see a complete layout you want in a background layout, just e-mail me and I can send you a link for it.

*I will be posting new layouts every Sunday.

Another Apology...

Sorry!! That's all I can really say! I know I've lost a lot of followers due to my lack of work on this blog but I do see people who continue to use my layouts from time to time and it makes me so happy and not want to quit!

Sadly and happily, I start school TOMORROW (Ah!) so my time will be more limited. However, it will probably force us to have to pay for better internet so getting the layouts up won't be such a pain (which has REALLY been a HUGE hold up recently).

So, basically what I'm saying is don't give up on me! I haven't forgotten about my little blog! I'll at least try to get some new stuff up during holidays and such...

Thanks to everyone who continues to follow and support me! It really does mean a lot!!

P.S. there is 1 new layout up on the Complete Layouts page...hopefully it'll be enough for a while :)

I've been really busy lately but I've been slacking on my poor little blog so instead of doing some things that are probably more important, I'm blogging! :) So there are some new Spring layouts up, hopefully more to come soon. I have recently been working on a custom layout for a friend who was previously using a layout from The Cutest Blog on the Block and learned of a few problems that may come up if you are trying to switch to one of my (or possibly even someone else's) layouts.

Basically, here is the solution: MAKE SURE that you remove the HTML gadget you added for your Cutest Blog on the Block background before you try to enter my code. If you decide you want to use one of their layouts again, you can always easily add the gadget again. However my layouts and some others I'm sure will not work unless you remove it first.

I'm going to try to update the directions for uploading my layouts to reflect this but I just wanted to let anyone know who is having problems with it now. I'm also trying to figure out how to use the same method of uploading so it will be a more convenient switch back and forth for all layout users. For now, try deleting the gadget and see how that works for you. As always, let me know if you have any questions or problems!

If you're wondering how to delete a gadget, follow these instructions:

*Log in to your blog.
*Click on "Layout" on the top left.
*Click on "Page Elements" on the top left.
*Click "Edit" next to the gadget you want to delete, in this case, the one labeled "HTML/Javascript"
(NOTE: You may have more than one gadget labeled "HTML/Javascript" so when it opens, make sure it's the one that contains your background. Look for the code you originally pasted in or anything that looks like an image link e.g. anything ending in .jpg or .png)
*Click "Remove" and save your changes and that should do it.

I know I'm a little late but just to let everyone know, I've started posting Thanksgiving layouts and hope to have them all up by the end of the weekend. Like I said, I know it's a little late but it should still be enough time to have your blog cute and festive for the Holiday!

Also, I know it's kind of taken me a little bit to get back in the swing of things. I've been making a lot of changes and am really trying to make some updates. With this, I've been running into some problems and making some errors. I just want to tell everyone thanks for hangin' in there and being patient! I appreciate your comments (even if you just have a question or a problem) so keep them coming!

Fall Layout Problems Addressed!!

Thank you so much to those of you who have been working patiently with me while I've been ironing out the kinks of making my blog functional again!! I really appreciate all the support! It turns out what I thought was an issue with Safari users was actually an issue with Firefox users so hopefully, I've been able to make the layouts user-friendly for both! So, if you're a Firefox or Safari user or you have friends and family viewing your blog who may use either of those browsers, you may want to re-copy and paste the HTML code if you're using any of the new fall complete layouts. Again, thanks for your patience and everyone who helped me address the problem!

Attention New Layout Users...

It has come to my attention that some of the new layouts I've posted aren't compatible for Safari users. I've cnaged some of the codes to try to help with that so if it's a concern for anyone, simply re-copy, paste and save your layout code. As always, please let me know if you have any questions or run into any problems!

So I'm really trying to do some updating. Hopefully by the end of everything, the blog will be more user-friendly and have some more fun additions. For right now, I'm just trying to get everything organized and get some new layouts up for Halloween and Fall. I'm also going to be working on getting more cateogries up. If you notice on the complete layouts page, there is now a cateogries bar to help you search for the type of layout you want. Also, I want to hear from YOU! It is very important to me to make what you need and like. If anyone has any suggestions or requests, please feel free to let me know!! I will be putting polls up to see what everyone likes best in their layout so keep checking back for new stuff!

I'm Back!

So it's been a REALLY long time since I've posted any new layouts! Life's been a little hectic lately and I had actually debated quitting the site. Until...a fun night of blog making with Natalie made me decide to do the opposite and get back to work! I'm learning so many new things and having so much fun making new backgrounds...it's actually been quite therapeutic!! So I just wanted to let everyone know I'm back and hopefully will never have such a long slacking period again! I'm trying to get as many fall/halloween layouts as I can up right now but as always, if anyone has any questions or requests, just let me know!

I'm sure most of you have noticed, I've been having a little trouble with photobucket lately. After quite a bit of frustration trying to figure out what the problem is and how to fix it, I've decided to try using a different photo hosting site until I can get things resolved with photobucket. Your layouts should now be usable. Sorry for the inconvenience! Keep checking back for updates. I will try get things moving as soon as possible. Thanks for all your patience! Hey Everyone! It has come to my attention that a few of my complete layouts aren't formatting quite right on Safari. So I've updated all the complete layouts and they should be the right sizes now. All you have to do is re-paste in the code for the layout you want or had. I know most people probably don't use Safari but it might be a good idea to re-paste your layout anyway so it still looks good to those of your blog visitors who may use it. I have made notes next to the ones I have re-formatted so you can tell if you've been using one or not.

Also, I NEED FEEDBACK!! If you're having any problems w/ any of my layouts, please let me know!! I want to get all the kinks ironed out as soon as I can. Even if you just have questions or would like to talk to me about making a custom layout for you, let me know! My e-mail address is ashleywiltbank@gmail.com.
